This week we celebrated our fifth Thank An Alum Days, a time when the Mount Holyoke campus community joins together to reflect on how alumnae gifts — large and small — allow for students to have the incredible "Mount Holyoke experience" that makes our alma mater unique.
Each year, contributions from thousands of alumnae help provide critical support to MHC, giving the College freedom to think beyond the day-to-day cost of educating each student in order to create and refine the world-class education that is the hallmark of the MHC experience.
- Traditions, like Convocation, M&Cs, and Mountain Day
- Innovative programs and initiatives, like the Lynk and our Living-Learning Communities that prepare students to be leaders in their communities
- Internships and research opportunities that ensure students are ready to enter any field they choose
- Learning outside the classroom through orientation programming, guest lecturers, Weissman Center speakers, and the cultural houses.
Over the past three days we received over 650 thank you notes from students, faculty, staff, and community members. They know, as we do, that we would not be able to provide such a transformative education without the support of our alumnae.
